PT Elongation Report

This report shows the tendon elongation.

The P/T Tendon column shows the tendon name. The %fpu column shows the tendon stress at the end of the tendon after anchor set as a percentage of the ultimate strength. The ASF Loss column shows the total anchor set force loss at the end of the tendon. The AS Dist column shows the distance that anchor set effect is extended into the girder. The Elong. column shows the tendon elongation.

For one end jacking, either from left or right (left being closer to beginning of bridge), is reported as 80% of the theoretical value to be consistent with field check operations. The end that is not jacked is reported as 0. If jacking is done from both sides, then it is assumed that the left end is jacked first. In this case, the left end elongation is 80% of the theoretical value, and the right end is 100% of the elongation after jacking and setting the left end.
